APRIL 2010 BUSINESS AFTER HOURS REPORT Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Center at St. Cloud Regional Medical Center attracted 130 members and guests to tour this very unique, only one of its kind in Osceola County, and one of just a few in all of Central Florida. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is a medical treatment that increases the amount of oxygen in the patient’s blood, allowing oxygen to pass more easily through the plasma into the wounds to heal them. The chamber into which the patient is placed surrounds the patient with 100% oxygen at higher than normal atmospheric pressure for a treatment of approximately two hours. Bess Watson, Director of the Center and her staff did an excellent job of explaining the healing process as members toured through. In addition to the learning, attendees enjoyed the exceptional cuisine of the St. Cloud Regional Medical Center culinary staff. Beautiful big shrimp, tender beef loin and a variety of finger items. Lots of door prizes. The Member Spotlight was won by Bugs-B-Gone. The 50/50 drawing was won by Don Long, Top Yacht Brokerage LLC. Don returned his share of the winnings back to the Adult Scholarship Fund a very generous contribution. Thank you Don.
The 50/50 sales were handled by St. Cloud Business Exchange, Thursday morning Leads Group, who fell just $1 short of the amount raised by March’s BAH sellers, Osceola Business Partners. Great effort by St. Cloud Business Exchange, thank you.
